Falling Down
Could this be war
Fake it
You drag me down
Don't start me up

Rush came about when I was approached by my songwriting partner Mick Walsh, to front his band while his singer was in hospital with kidney stones. This retro 80's band were showcasing  at the time to various record labels but they felt that they didn't have enough striking songs that the record labels were interested in. So Mick and I put our writing caps on a came out with the project 'Rush'. The band eventually finished up signing to 'Metal Madness' records in 1996. Unfortunately, half way through recording the debut album the label went into receivership so the record was never finished. Still proud of the songs I decided to put them together with an old song 'Could this be War?' that I wrote with my very good friend Glenn Carter ten years previous. The album was simply called 'Rush' after the first track we wrote for the project. In my opinion 'Rush' is a step back into the 80's and the big power bands, taking most of its production influences from 'Tears for Fears'. The title was song was re-written for Sigmund Freud in 'Bill & Ted's excellent musical adventure.
