Glenn in the Lyceum production as Jesus in the scourging, or whipping, scene. In the hall of Pilate, guards slap Jesus' flesh, apparently drawing blood. Using the hands to injure Jesus rather than a whip is an interesting adaptation of the story, resulting in a more shocking, brutal effect.
